How Fundraising Works

HorseRescue Hub does not raise funds directly for purchasing a horse.

Rather, we want to support horse ownership and horse welfare. In this way, horses are more likely to stay at home instead of being dumped at auction or becoming neglected. Also, rescuing a horse from a bad situation may seem less daunting if a support network exists in case the horse needs unforseen care.

Therefore, HorseRescue Hub will promote fundraising for the following needs: hay, grain, vetting, farrier, medicines, blankets, fly sheets/fly control, dental, emergency shelter, surrender fees to Rescues, euthanasia. Individual horse owners are encouraged to apply, and Rescues are also welcome if the request is specific.

There is not a set limit to how many times you can apply, but campaigns will be posted in the order in which they were received.
